Raúl Acha and his team wanted to make a wine just as the families of San Vicente de la Sonsierra did in the 19th century, far removed from the wines blended with Rioja Alta and Rioja Baja grapes, transferring to the bottle, a unique landscape, history and terroir.

After a meticulous search, they selected 39 plots with old Tempranillo vines and some Mazuelo vines. They chose 312 French and Hungarian oak barrels that provided spicy and smoked notes. The result is 89,930 bottles and 1,700 magnums of a full, fleshy and fresh wine.
